The metal sculpture Madklingzercon (I.2017) depicts the figure of Au Neutoahron, the founder of Zehnze Neutoahron, from the World of Madklingzercon, which is part of an interdimensional singularity. Since this World is currently only in my imagination, I can afford to create its elements, or more precisely, its inhabitants with the products of their material and spiritual culture. And all this to create a space that is the core, a common denominator for sculptures that do not necessarily fit our real World.
Like most of my figurative works, it is carved from welded steel (welding sculpture). This is a technique used by some sculptor-welders. Works made using this technique should not be confused with bronze, aluminum or other metal castings. Castings are made from molds made based on clay sculptures, then wax, poured with liquid metal (the so-called lost wax method).
Welded sculptures that I create are made from joined pieces of millimeter sheet metal. I use only a welding machine and grinders for this. This is a very time-consuming process. Making a similar bronze cast takes 1/3 of the time that I have to devote to my technique. But thanks to this I achieve the intended effect!
In my original metal sculptures, I avoid the obvious or current trends. Above all, I focus on originality and uniqueness so that my effort does not get lost in the crowd of projects by other creators or craftsmen. It is the uniqueness and characteristic style of my works that guarantee you an increase in their value over the years. The distance to the potential client does not matter. My metal sculptures can be seen live in Bielsko-Biała and Kozy, but they have also found their place with many collectors throughout Poland, Europe, North America and Australia.
